With the power system reform, the increasingly competitive market bring new challenges to Yantai xinyuang transmission and distribution company. And with the rapid development of the power grid in Yantai, there are unprecedented development opportunities to the company. Analysis of the performance management of the project management and the reasonable performance management indicator system with the company's own characteristics play a positive role on the performance appraisal. It is profound significance to the company's long-term development.In-depth study of performance management basic theory and project management, in-depth analysis of Yantai xinyuan transmission and distribution company engineering project performance management status and problems, based on the performance evaluation from the process, performance assessment methods, the implementation of performance management and other aspects of the establishment and application of comprehensive performance management system, and proposed performance management system safeguards. Specific study as follows.Firstly, the basic theory of the performance management and project management is given. Based on the existing state of the performance management in the project, its problems are proposed. Secondly, the design concept of the performance management system of the project management is proposed. And its objectives and principles are given. The indicators of performance evaluation of the project manager and staff are bulit separately, and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is applied. Finally, its assurance system is given, which proposes to carry out ideological education and preparatory work, and to enhance the training of all staff and strengthen professional jobs Skills training to give full play to existing training mechanisms.In this paper, the performance management system is designed to promote the company's professional level and management, and to maximize the benefits of the project and the company.
