With China's growing economic and social and development progress, the development of Beijing have been greatly improved, especially in the economic and social development is achieved many remarkable achievements. Although the overall level of development of Beijing on the rise, the socio-economic development level of among its sixteen districts and counties are not uniform, differences in economic development is particularly evident. So, the author first of made a simply description of regional differences in China, including differences in status, the difference causes and theoretical analysis, etc. On the basis of this, leads to the socio-economic development situation of sixteen districts and counties of Beijing. Secondly, the author apply two methods of multivariate statistical to empirical analysis: The first, using the factor analysis method, assesses the socio-economic development levels of the sixteen districts and counties of Beijing, and confirms that there are regional differences in Beijing's socio-economic development, have nine districts and counties are grow above the average level of regional development, another seven districts and counties are below the average level of regional development. The second, using the multiple linear regression analysis method, analyze the factors what affect on the economic development level in Beijing, confirmed three factors mainly affect the economic development of Beijing, they are population density, everyone use the foreign investment and region the difference between imports and exports. Thirdly, on the basis of multivariate statistical analysis, this paper put forward four policy recommendations, which the government should pay attention to"people-oriented"; concerned about the development of rural regions; the government should fully play its economic role, and reasonable planning the industrial distribution of Beijing. The paper states that, made the government more targeted to develop regional economic based on the actual situation of various districts and counties, then in order to reduce differences among regions and to promote the development of Beijing better and more generally.
