Jiangsu Regional Differences Of Urbanization And Its Influencing Factors

In the context of economic globalization and new rural construction,city of Jiangsu Province has entered a phase of accelerated development.Owing to natural endowment, historical basis, regional conditions and policy orientation, there is a clear high and low gradient in southern, middle and northern development of the three regional cities. The proportion of the total urban population in the target population up to 67.7% in south of jiangsu in 2008, which is 17.5% and 24.6% higher than the middle and northern respectively.Urbanization developing differences in urbanization is significantly.This paper is mainly regional differences in urbanization in Jiangsu and its influencing factors,and trying to reveal the role of every impact factor in the process of urbanization in three regions.
