In the present paper we investigated the essence and characteristics of economic globalization, political globalization and cultural globalization as well as their interaction in the framework of Marx on the theory of world history. Specifically speaking, the author covered the essential reason, driving force and impetus. And economic globalization was mainly guided by developed countries and it has natural and social property. Political globalization manifested itself the appearance of scale politics, deeply development of multi-polarization as well as the globalization of international political system, international political themes and the diversification of international political relationship. In terms of cultural globalization, the author focused its historical, practical and universal characteristics. What's more, the author put up with the issue of the development of national culture and the co-existence of varied cultures.In addition, we analyzed the opportunities and challenges China would face up to. Economic globalization was helpful to the establishment and improvement of our system of organization. It accelerated the speed of resources disposing and encouraged production factors to flow freely. It pushed forward the optimization of industrial structure and the adjustment of economic structure, which created a number of job opportunity. However, we should keep in mind that it couldn't raise the global competition but it did heighten the dependence of our finance on the outside world. Political globalization we should have cognizance of the fact that socialist system and capitalist system will co-exist in the long run and we must continue to adhere to independent foreign policy of peace. In the background of cultural globalization, we should devote ourselves to develop culture industries in order to raise the status and influence of our traditional culture in the whole world.Finally, we should be aware of the fact that the effect of the globalization on China had both advantages and disadvantages. On one hand, we should learn advanced experience from the western countries in practical terms in order to urge openness bring along reform which in turn promotes development. On the other hand, we should bring our superiority into full play as a later comer and raise our international competitiveness. Only in this way can we develop better in the trend of globalization.
