With the process of economic globalization, information speeding up gradually, private enterprises are facing increasingly fierce competitive environment. Under this pressure, private family businesses have also recognized that human resource management plays an important position in the enterprise, and continue to implement reforms on their human resources. Among them, performance management, as a member of a number plate in human resources management, is more and more concerned about by business and theorists. We can say that performance management of one enterprise is good or bad which in some sense determines the success or failure of human resources management in company. Research on enterprise performance management has become a corporate human resources position, as it can grasp the key elements of human resource management. In the day of violent competition, as representatives of private family business, A Company conducting the reform of human resources management became the company's top issues. Marketing department, as the first department to implement performance management of A Company, can give a certain reference for the implementation of performance management of other departments. Spearheaded to reform performance management in the company's marketing department, will help improve the ability of staff in marketing department, and establish a benchmark, which will also help strengthen mutual co-operation and common progress of various sections within the marketing department.In this paper, starting from theories of the origin and development of performance management, analysis of the performance management process and performance management tools, which are good theoretical basis for the follow-up design marketing performance management solutions of A Company. Then the paper introduced A Company and its marketing department. From the four stages, as performance planning stage, implementation stage performance, stage performance appraisal feedback and performance results of application, it introduced status of performance management of the company's marketing department. With questionnaire and interview, the author discussed problems and the reasons on the marketing department's performance management of A Company. Then it elaborated objectives and principles on designing marketing performance management, and according that made some necessary adjustments to the organizational structure of the marketing department, Then conducted a work analysis, lying foundation for performance management, and established market performance appraisal content and weight,indicators and assessment criteria. After that it proposed the construction and operation of marketing department's performance management system. The paper explained implementation of marketing performance management system, including good training, a reasonable division of labor, ensure that the new performance management system in collaboration with other management systems. Finally, the article advanced security measures during implementation of performance management, including the security of organization, system security, protection of corporate culture.
