ABSTRACT:Dangerous chemicals are widely used in modern social production and life, but most of dangerous chemicals are always flammable, explosive, poisonous, erosive, and so on, which can easily make harm to society, environment, personnel and equipment during producing, storing, transporting and selling them, so it can bring low efficiency to supply chain. The concept of Internet of Thing has been mentioned constantly, and the technology is also being gradually applied to various fields. Based on the characteristics of dangerous chemicals and the research of the inefficiency of the supply chain, the paper proposes a set of solution to improve the efficiency and the security performance. This paper introduces the knowledge of dangerous chemicals and the Internet of Thing, including technology and framework first; Then there is a contrast on the operation mode of the traditional supply chain and the IOT one, mainly from production, logistics and sales; Finally, the paper uses the technologies, mainly about the encoding technology(EPC), identification(RFID) and middleware technology etc, to design a set of solutions with a pubic platform and three subsystems, and that can make the enterprises on the supply chain more efficient, more security and more environmental.
