The"Twelfth Five-Year"period is an important period in which deeply implementing scientific view of development, fully building a well-off society and fully improving the level of opening-up in China, and is also the important developing period in which China's automobile industry improves international competitiveness and transforming the pattern of growth. Therefore, that analysis on present situation of China automobile international business strategy and drawing automobile international business developing formulation is quite significant and valued for improving China exporting automobile quality and efficiency, strengthening technological innovation capacity, analysis on present situation of China automobile industry international business strategy and scientifically drawing China automobile business internationalization strategy, implementing strategy of automobile brand strategy, optimizing export structure, transforming developing pattern, promoting China automobile business healthily internationalization.This paper makes a comprehensive exposition on Foreign Directly Investment(FDI) and Investment Environment Analysis theory, points out the profound significance of speeding up FDI in new era, and specific methods and significance of guidance on FDI by investment environment analysis theory; on the other hand, uniting theory with practice, by the case of China FAW Group establishing a new Vehicle Assembly base in South Africa business, combining with present operating status of vehicle industrial internationalization in China, and adopting investment environment analysis methods, this article analyzes the vehicle market investment environment of South Africa, and adopts combination of qualitative analysis and comparison analysis, with excellent pictures and text, by chart analysis and SWOT analysis method, in-depth analyzes risks and opportunities of selling the different models of vehicle production in South Africa. And accordant solving methods are pointed out.Chapter 1, introduces the background of choosing subject, researching significance, researching methods and fundamental structure.Chapter 2, introduces relevant theories of FDI, investment environment and investment strategy, analyses the significance of accelerating the speed of FDI at present, and researches the effect of investment environment analysis to FDI and relevant contents of FDI strategy.Chapter 3, analyses the whole and vehicle market environment of South Africa. Through the analysis of political, economic, cultural environment of SA, clearly pointing out the characteristics and competing status of SA vehicle market. And through the method of Hot/Cold elements analysis, pointing out that investment environment of SA is suitable for FDI of FAW group.Chapter 4, drafts the investment strategy of FAW group in SA vehicle market through the statement from three sides of investment pattern selection, marketing strategy combination and risk-avoiding strategies.Chapter 5, through concluding the contents of above four chapters, gets four fundamental conclusions.Firstly, SA investment environment is suitable for FDI of FAW group. Secondly, pointing out the joint venture strategy between CAD-fund and FAW group is investment pattern of FAW South Africa Investment Corporation.Thirdly, pointing out that the marketing combination strategy of FAW group production is: Production strategy of emphasizing on medium/heavy duty trucks, Price strategy of basing on SKD assembly, Place strategy of basing on dealers network, and Promotion strategy of centering on customer, enhancing propaganda and strengthen services.Last, this paper affords FAW group the actual referent significance on developing South Africa vehicle market by FDI way.
