The Research On The Old-age Security For Rural Population

With the rapid development of world economy, many countries around the world have entered into the aging society, which lead to the serious problem of elderly care. As the environmental problem, elderly care had become the common problem in the world. According to the sixth population census, we know:Having 13 million people, China is a typical agricultural country where 50.32% of the population lived in countryside, so the development of rural economic made the elderly care for fanners who lost their lands and was in city become the most pressing problem that our government must to solve at present. Whether this problem can be resolved that will directly relate to the basic life of rural residents in their old age and will be also the important performance and inevitable request to build new socialist countryside and harmonious society.But, the old-age security system in many rural areas is still incomplete for various reasons, and most of the farmers take the mode of family elderly care. With the development of economy and society, the effect of this mode has greatly abated, which will seriously affect the old-age security of the farmers. In this paper, the old-age security of the rural population has been analyzed and discussed by the methods of historical study and comparative analysis. At first, explain the research background simplify. Secondly, introduce the current situation briefly. Then, analyze the existed problems at present and summarize the domestic and foreign experiences. Finally, according to the actual conditions of our countryside, propose to establish a normative and multi-level old-age security system, which could coordinate and distribute the responsibility of nation, society, family and individual, exert the predominance of every old-age security mode, mobilize the whole society to meet the different requirements of the old-age security in countryside, and solve the problem of the old-age security for rural population.
