As the urban economyis developing rapidly, the size of cities is expanding gradually, the layout of the urban industrial area is constantly restructuring, business model becomes diversified ande-commerce presents the momentum of fast and vigorous development, which lead to the increasing demand of urban logistics. However, theurban traffic problems, which are increasingly severe, have brought a lot of difficulties to urban logistics. Based on the current condition, this thesis makes a research on the urban logistics, which has practical implications on the development of urban logistics. This thesismainly involves the following four parts:First, the relevant concepts about city logistics are introduced and the structure of urban logistics system is analysed. Detailed elaboration will be given on city, urban logistics, logistics information and urban logistics public information platform. Types of urban logistics, the structure of urban logistics system and the close relationship between urban logistics and traffic are analysed.Then, the current state of urban logistics is analysed. This thesis clearly defines the different function that different government branch of logistics management should carry out in urban logistics. To find the problems, system dynamics method is applied to the casual relation analysis on the present state of urban logistics. And these problems are handled with the Game analysis on the participants.Next, there is analysis on the urban Logistics Public Information Platform. Through the investigation and analysis of the present urban logistics information platform in our country, and the analysis on the needs for the information and the functions of the participants in the platform, the urban logistics public information platform constructed in this thesis can be positioned.Finally, grid-based City Logistics Public Information Platform is designed in order to integrateurban logistics resourses by establishing a resource management system forit.Based on this,design the processes of freight passes assigned online through the platform,the trade of joint distribution and theoptimization ofvehicle routing in urban logisticsbased on the real-time traffic information.
