Study On The Operation Plan Of Railway Express Freight Trains In China

With the rapid growth of economy and the improvement of people's living standard in China, the transportation demand has been increasing fast for the products with the characteristics of multi-item, small batch, multi-batch. The request to the transportation service level, such as the rapidity, mobility, punctuality, and safe of delivery, has been asked to enhance increasingly. It is the trend to develop the high value-added goods transportation in the railway. At the same time, with the speeding-up and large-scale construction of railway, main railway trunk lines such as Beijing-Shanghai is releasing capacity constantly. It provides the real basic condition of developing railway express freight transportation. The railway freight scheduled-train plan directly affects the market share, service level and efficiency. Therefore, research on the express freight train operation has a good practical significance.In the context, this thesis takes Beijing-Shanghai Railway Line as the key study region, and focuses on the following aspects to study how to design railway freight scheduled-train plan:(1) The whole idea to design railway freight scheduled-train planOn the basis of analyzing the current situation and the main problems of railway freight train transportation organization, this thesis describes the framework of designing railway freight scheduled-train plan in future, including the basic content, organization principle, composition points, influencing factors and so on, then this thesis forms the basic ideas on designing scheduled-train plan.(2)Railway freight volume forecast of the high value-added goodsThrough analyzing the major logistics nodes'layout, absorbing region and categories of freight resource, this thesis puts forward the freight volume forecasting processes and methods. For the trend volume forecasting, this thesis forecasts the sending and arriving volume, and uses dual-constrained gravity model to forecasting the OD data; For the induced volume forecasting and shifting volume forecasting, the thesis considers the economy, rapidity, convenience, punctuality and safety to calculate generalized cost, and uses the gravity model method to calculate the induced volume and shifting volume.(3) Analyzing and designing the operation plan of railway express freight trainsThe thesis analyses the principle and the basic form of railway express freight trains and describes the basic steps to design railway freight scheduled-train plan. For the general principle of optimal effectiveness and efficiency, the thesis establishes a multi-objected programming model and presents the basis steps to find the optimal solution.(4) Case analysis of Beijing-Shanghai railway lineOn the basic of forecasting OD data and estimating transportation capacity, case analysis is introduced to testify the models.
