Research On The System Of Railway Express Freight Products Under The Separation Of Passenger And Freight Traffic

With the rapid development of national economy and optimization of economic structure, the social transportation volume has kept growing in recent years for the frequent exchanges of the inter-regional commodity. Two factors put forward higher requirements for developing the railway express transportation, that is, the increasing transportation demand for the products with the characteristics of multi-item, small batch, multi-batch, high added-value and the higher requirements for the transportation service quality and level raised by the shippers. In accordance with the "long-term railway network plan", at the end of 2012, China will have built a high-speed railway with the length of 13,000 km and some main trunk lines, such as Beijing-Shanghai railway, Beijing-Guangzhou railway, Lanzhou-Lianyungang railway and Shanghai-Kunming railway, etc, will have ended up the current situation of mixed passenger and freight. The release of the railway transport capacity will create extremely favorable conditions for the railway express transportation in some aspects which is reforming the organizational model, optimizing the product structure, develop new express freight products, improving the service quality and meeting the market demand. Based on this background, this dissertation forces on the study of the system of railway express freight transportation.Firstly, on the issue of the system of railway express freight transportation, the dissertation makes a contrast of traditional freight transportation and express freight transportation and defines the concept and features of the railway express freight transportation based on the theory of systematic.Secondly, the dissertation introduces the development status of both domestic and abroad railway express freight products, and sums up the main problems during the development of railway express freight products.Thirdly, under the separation of passenger and freight traffic, the author defines the concept of railway express freight products and the system of railway express freight products which is based on the theory of marketing, and then discusses the market demand and its features for the railway express transportation under the separation of passenger and freight traffic. Summarizing the current railway express freight transportation products, the essay designs the structure and level of the railway express freight transportation products from the horizontal and vertical.Fourth, on the issue of the products development and organization of the railway express freight transportation under the separation of passenger and freight traffic. Expounds the express freight products development design principles and ideas, and on this basis, analyzed the constitution and characteristic of the system of the railway express freight transportation organization which is discussed under the separation of passenger and freight traffic in this essay. The author makes a further study on the operating organization on the express freight nodes and wagon flow organization on the railway line. Specifically, as for the operating organization on freight nodes, process optimization and recycling technology can optimize operation content and operation flow on the express freight nodes.
