The Study On The European Train Tourism And Use For Reference To The Train Tourism Development Of Qinghai-Tibet Railway

Train Tourism is a kind of tourism activities which combined with the function of tourism traffic and attraction. It is a large-scale and sustainable tourism planning concept and a kind of idea to transfer public transportation into a tourism attraction. The development of Train tourism creates the ecological value, economic value and social value. European is the most developed region of train tourism. Its experience shows that the development of train tourism can strike the balance between the ecologic, society and economics. China is a rapid economic developing country with a large population, per capita energy shortage and environmental degradation. The European experience has important reference value for China. In particular, the opening of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, it is more significant for studying on the train tourism theory and practices.Firstly, the paper describes the research background, the literature review, the purpose, and the research methodology, and then pioneering poses the concept of "train tourism" and "train tourism product". Secondly, through the theory and practice research of the European train tourism, focusing on the concept and idea, the paper builds the train tourism development model. Third, from the view of tourism product and through analysis and summarizes the products of European train tourism, the paper creatively constructs the train product system that consists of three parts: core products, additional products and outside products. Fourth, the paper elaborated the necessity and feasibility on introducing the European train tourism into the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. Finally, under the former research, using the train tourism development models and train tourism products system; combining the Qinghai-Tibet Railway and the specific situation in China, the paper poses the ideas and strategy for how to develop the train tourism in Qinghai-Tibet Railway, and gives a number of specific countermeasure and suggestions for planning the train tourism products.Consequently, as a creative study, the paper hope to initiated the attention on the train tourism theory and practice...
