| Because of the diversity of people's travel demand and increasing of personalized demand in transport area, traditional public transport can not satisfy people's flexible demands, at the same time, the development of information technology can be used to improve the quality of public transport service. Under this situation, demand responsive transport system is proposed, which is a special public transport with certain operational and organizational mode. This new kind of public transport operates greatly differently from traditional public transport, and is a main operation mode in low-density areas. The challenges of research on demand responsive transport system lie in how to schedule the current route in order to satisfy dynamic passengers. The aims are to meet the demands of passengers as many as possible and reducing operation cost meanwhile. Many scholars are focusing on how to schedule the route in real time under certain constraints. In this paper, a typical kind of DRT, which is called campus bus, is taken for further researching. The main researches in this paper are as follows:(1) Based on the analysis of demand responsive transport system in the developed countries such as USA, Swiss and German, we proposed a specific demand responsive transport system according to the development of our country. Taking High-Tech Zone in Dalian for example, the demand responsive campus bus system was depicted.(2) Disruption measurement, disruption recognition and strategy of recovery from disruption are analyzed, and then we use disruption management to build the demand responsive campus bus real-time schedule model from the aspects of passenger disruption, route disruption and cost disruption.(3) The two-phase insertion technique of dynamic passengers for campus bus system was designed; in the first phase, C-W algorithm was applied to orient the insertion position; and in the second phase,2-opt was used to optimize the route. At last, numerical experiment is made to validate the effectiveness of the model and algorithm. In this research, disruption management is applied into the area of real-time scheduling for demand responsive campus bus system, which is a beneficial exploration for the new kind of public transport system. At the same time, this new public transport mode can be used to enhance the flexibility of traditional transport system, especially for the low-density areas. The new model can increase the satisfaction of passengers and induce operation cost. Because of those advantages, the demand responsive public transport system would be applied widely in the future. |
