In the logistics and distribution management system, the transfer from the manufacturer to the user is completed by distribution. Vehicle routing and travel time forecasting in logistics and distribution play an important role in this process. When the routes of the vehicle logistics are well planned, it would save the distribution costs. More accurate travel time forecasts in turn help to plan the routes and to guide the logistics distribution of supplies. This thesis focuses on the route planning of logistics routes and travel time prediction. The first chapter introduces the concept of logistics and distribution, combined with the background of logistics, and discusses the significance of the distribution. The second chapter describes the status of the development of logistics systems, and introduces an overview of the path optimization and travel time prediction. Chapter 3 presents an improved algorithm of the Dijkstra algorithm, so that the new algorithm is closer to the actual logistics and distribution activities. As the ant colony algorithm's searching is long and easy to stagnate.Chapter 4 improves the ant colony algorithm by employing a comprehensive index of distribution paths, and it improves the ability of global optimization and the convergence rate, which makes the algorithm more practical in paths optimization of logistics and distribution. In Chapter 5, a combined forecast method is proposed for vehicle travel time prediction based on SVM and NN. Numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of the combined method. Chapter 6 summarizes the main results of the thesis and puts forward some future research directions.
