Research On Constraints Of Urban Forest In Beijing

Urban forestry is the ecological, social and comprehensive forestry, its main function is to provide ecological barrier for the sustainable development of the city, meet the citizens' growing demand of the urban ecological environment. Due to the concept and the backward and restriction of technology and management, Beijing urban forestry still exist problems of poor quality, funds shortage and extensive management, which had seriously impact on the health level of urban forestry. Through the studies of Beijing urban forestry problems, the paper helps to promote construction and development of urban forestry and provide other provinces and cities for reference, especially has important practical value of improving the ecological environment for Beijing residents.This paper firstly analyzed the present situation of Beijing urban forestry based on relevant studies, then evaluated and analyzed the obstacles of Beijing urban forestry with the analytic hierarchy process and obtained the restrict factors of Beijing urban forestry which are land, water resource, population, urban construction, funds, forest resource, operation and management system, finally put forward more scientific, reasonable suggestions for the construction of Beijing urban forestry.
