Study On The Status And Causes Of Forestry Co-operatives In Tonggu County Jiangxi Province

Since 2003, China began a new round of reform of collective forest right system, making farmers into collective wood land forest management, use and benefits of the main body. As forestry production and management activities need to scale, the current form of collective forest management is not conducive to raising the level of forest productivity, small farmers and large market of contradictions in the field of timber production has become more apparent. Forestry Development Co-operation so as theorists and policy-making attention of reality.Jiangxi Tonggu this study as a research area, the first based on field research carried out in 2009-2010 data and information, a summary of a more systematic and comprehensive analysis of the study area, forest status of the organization's development cooperation, including cooperative type of organization, operation mechanism and problems; Second, farmers use level of 227 samples for survey data, combined with the establishment of the Logit regression model, from a farm family status, head of the household characteristics, resource endowments and other aspects that affect the participation and cooperation of fanners organizations will co-organize the development of this constraint a key factor in the quantitative analysis; again, based on new institutional economics of property rights theory, transaction cost theory, game theory, from a system perspective on the development status of forestry cooperative organizations to further the causes of the explanatory analysis.Findings show that:Forestry Co-operation is based on farmers as the main, to the production of collective forest as the main object of cooperation relations of production as the main economic organizations; farmers generally less willing to participate in cooperative organizations, and fanners family status, head of the household characteristics and other factors has a direct relationship; cooperative organizations to establish and develop more by system level constraints.
