Visual Anthropology Researches Into Mongolian Wedding Custom Of The Durbed Banner

Weddings can concentrately reflect the social activities, such as the custom, economy and thoughts of the time, which is an reduction of the social structure. The writer collected the wedding video materials of The Durbed Banner between 1995 and 2011, and made a 80 minutes long documentary film to represent the cultural change of the Mongol Weddings in The Durbed Banner originally and truly trying to make a contribution to the Visual Anthropology researches of cultural changeThis research paper consists of three parts:the introduction, main part (three chapters), and conclusion.Introduction presented the research aim, related achievements, and research methods.In the first chapter, the writer mainly introduced the natural environment, social situation of the Durbed Banner and the video materials used in this paper.In the second chapter, the writer stated the main process of Mongol Weddings in the Durbed Banner.In the third chapter, the writer represented the changes of the Mongol Weddings in the Durbed Banner through many aspects, such as wedding photos and wedding places etc. Afterward analysed the internal and external reasons of the cultural change.In the part of conclusion, the writer summarized the main content of this paper.
