Research On Process Of Network Organization's Formation Based On Task Complexity

The change of economic environment promotes the transformation of organizational structure. With the economic globalization, the coming of knowledge economy, the rapid development of information technology, network organization is becoming a new trend which attracts the attention of researchers and entrepreneurs. Nowadays, many scholars discuss the formation, structure and governance of network organization from different viewpoints, such as resource-based rationale, transaction cost rationale, societal network rationale, organizational management etc, and acquire much advances. However, there is not any research about the process of formation of network organization based on task complexity. As this study can help us understand the survival and development of organization deeply, this paper summarizes the study of network organization and task complexity, then uses the approach of case study and AMC model to analyze the process of formation of network organization which includes the CNRO company form a new angle, with the purpose of exploring the theoretical logic of network organization based on task complexity.At first, this paper introduces the background, significance, design and method etc, and reviews the relative research. Second, through the collecting and analyzing of materials, this paper explores the process of network organization's formation, gets some conclusions as well:(1) The awareness of task complexity involves beforehand-awareness and afterwards-awareness. At the same time, the level of awareness is influenced by sensitivity and expected outcomes. (2) The motive of cooperation comes from internal requirements and external inducement, the level of motive is affected by the importance of task and the pressure of time. (3) The ability of corporation decides whether a company can set up bilateral relationship with others. Meanwhile, the level of ability of corporation is impacted by the amount of key resources and absorbency. At last, this paper gives a brief summing-up, demonstrates the weaknesses of this paper, discusses the future research directions and prospects.
