Network organization (short for NetOrg), thought as an efficient organization in the 21st century, is a kind of new mode of organization. The study on NetOrg is firstly supported by the Department of Management Science of National Natural Social Foundation of China during the period of 2001—2005.The study on NetOrg is being paid much attention by more and more researchers and enterprisers because enterprisers can share all resources on network organization. So many enterprisers change their business idea from oppose each other in the past to cooperation now. The dynamic game and the quantitative simulate analyze about network organization are illustrated by three parts in the paper. In the first part, the basic knowledge and the background knowledge on NetOrg are firstly provided.Based on the knowledge of system theory, the causes and the driving forces promoting the evolution of NetOrg are discussed. The trend of NetOrg evolution is that actors joining NetOrg become more and more and the relationship among the actors emerge more complex. And the driving forces promoting NetOrg evolution are from both the interaction among actors and the interaction between NetOrg and environment. And then, on the relationship among actors in NetOrg are further studied. It is discovered that many new kinds of practices exist in the actors. For example, between enterprisers and their customers, new practice is"customers, replace of products, as their center"; between enterprisers and their suppliers, new practice is"help replace of suppress"; between enterprisers and their rivals,"cooperation replace of competition"; between enterprisers and institutes or universities,"the center of cooperation goes ahead from the research results to the research idea"and so on.In the second part, there are three key contents.Firstly, the interaction among actors in NetOrg is proposed as a process of game. The Stackelberg function on NetOrg is established. Applying the function, it is illustrated that the profit increases not only on the whole NetOrg but also on the actors if the actors in NetOrg cooperate. Meanwhile, it is reasonable and fair that the profit is distributed among actors in NetOrg due to the Shapley equation. So NetOrg can develop long and stably. Then, NetOrg is proposed as a complex system. Based on the theory of complex adaptive system, the complexity of NetOrg is explored and the entropy function of NetOrg is created. The complexity is shown by the openness, evolution and emergence of NetOrg. And the entropy equation points out that there exist four ways to increase the order of NetOrg.And then, a new research mode is provided for studying NetOrg. Using QSIM theory in qualitative simulate, the main whole characteristics of the NetOrg are stressed on. The results show that the ability of information, knowledge and innovation will continually increase if actors in NetOrg keep their exchange resources, for example information, knowledge and energy, with environment. Following that, the qualitative causal ordering theory and the QSIM are integrated to study the behavior of actors in NetOrg. The research points out the environment and the decision will, on a great level, have an active effect on the behavior of actors. In the last part, a case in Guangxi Sugar Industry is given to explain the evolution of NetOrg. By the case, it shows that many firms in China are studying and practicing the new organization mode and thatNetOrg practice is in good concert with NetOrg theory.
