The Division Of Functions Of Tang Shan Bay Three Islands

A well organized division of functions is quite effective to manage islands. In particular, in order to optimize land resources and tourism resources, a reasonable planning and organizing is necessary, which can also realize a sustainable development, diversity management and environmental conservation. An island is one of the most important part of territorial waters, which has a high value for both economy and national defense .The large amount of islands promote a good marine economy, provide a better development as well. However, the limited island area, unique land cape and fragile nature system require a scientific functions division in order to have a sustainable development.Based on a theory of function division and actual survey works outdoors, this thesis is researching on island development analysis, and process. Especially to the Tang Shan Bay three islands'tourism development, a systematical analysis and evaluation will be analyzed in this thesis in order to give a technical support for other islands development. This thesis'mainly content and conclusion are as follows:(1)According to topography, seashore physiognomy, natural calamities, vegetation, resources appearance, resources unique, cultural historical, entertainment, board and lodging environment and tourism safety etc. total 15 targets have set up a evaluation system for islands tourism development. Island is divided into 4 zones based on these 15 targets: forbidden development zone, restriction development zone, proper development zone and key zones for development.(2)Based on the definitive method, Tang Shan three islands can be divided into forbidden development zone, restriction development zone, proper development zone and key zones for development as follows: Shi Jiutuo island contains the forbidden development zone proper development zone and key zones for development, the areas are 0.73km~2,2.53km~2,0.21km~2, occupying 21.1%,72.74%,6.16% of whole island respectively. Yue Tuo island contains restriction development zone, proper development zone and key zones for development, the areas are 8.85km~2,0.94km~2,0.29km~2 occupying 87.77%,9.30%,2.93% of whole island. Da Wangyan island contains the forbidden development zone, proper development zone and key zones for development, the areas are 19.98km~2,2.14km~2,0.35km~2 occupying 88.92%,9.51%,1.57% of whole island respectively.(3)A scientific management has been proposed as follows: strictly protecting the forbidden development zone, uniting and promoting the key zones for development, strengthening management infrastructures in proper development zone, protecting and restore as well as restriction development zone. To estimate and adjust Tang Shan Bay three islands with these theory is necessary.
