The Network Development And Estimate Of Regional Tourism Spatial Structure

The wave of economic globalization and regional economic integration accelerates the course of regional tourism integration. After the competition of scenic spots, tourism lines and tourism cities, regional tourism has entered a new age of regional competition to coexist with regional cooperation. Under the background of High Iron Age and urban cohesion, tourism economic relations between cities is more complex and regional tourism spatial structure has shown a conspicuous network trend.On the basis of previous research results and related academic classical theory, this paper conducted a theoretical exploration of network analysis, evolution mechanism, space-time evolution and development model of the network development of regional tourism structure. Study shows that under the influence of regional competition and cooperation and the action of spatial concentration and diffusion, the course of network development of regional tourism spatial structure is a process which the network developes from low to high level, and shows a rule of rising spiral cycle of"low level equilibrium– low level agglomeration - low level diffusion - high level equilibrium"in the evolution process. On these bases, this paper constructs the estimate index system of the network development of regional tourism spatial structure, which makes a quantitative evaluation of the degree and status of network.This paper makes an empirical Study of the network development of regional tourism spatial structure of the Yangtze River Delta using the data of 2000, 2003, 2006 and 2009. The results show that the tourism spatial structure of the Yangtze River Delta develops rapidly, but has not yet formed a complete network structure; the network development of sub-region of the Yangtze River Delta is not synchronized; in 2009, it's still in a highly polarized diffusion stage, and there is a large difference of network development within the Yangtze River Delta region. Finally, based on the evolution trend of Yangtze River Delta regional tourism spatial structure, this paper makes optimization recommendations.
