Self-driving tour has been rapidly developed with the constant improvement of Chinese economy development people awareness of tourism . Recently , A lot of experiences have been occured in the development and theoretical research of self-driving tour in western countries . But we are in lack of corresponding research of the characteristics of self-driving tourists . Based on this background , this article tends to the characteristics behaviors of self-driving tourists and systematic of self-driving tourists motivations , the mode for their spatial selection and the resulted market demand and supplies .This paper analysis self-driving tourists with NanTong as a destination , based on the SPSS statistical software , adapted in-depth interviews and research , a lot of valid questionnaires were given analysis .This paper is divided into five parts . The first one is preface , it described background , methods and significance . Part two is analyzed the research progress of self-driving tour at home and abroad and the research range of tourist behavior . Part three mainly discuss the spatial structure , based on the marketing supply of NanTong self-driving , consuming characteristics of tourists . Part four ,the overall characteristics of tourists are analyzed in the three aspects of demographic , psychological and behavior characteristics . Part five is the conclusion and discusses research respects of self-driving tour market in the future .This paper not only summarize the overall characteristics of self-driving tourists with region , but also focuses on the behavior of self-driving with aspect of microcosmic . filling the gap of in-depth study on segment . So , the author hopes that this paper could be a complement of the study of self-driving tourism , and be instructive about the exploration self-driving tourism market in China .
