The Evolutionay Process And Mechanism Of Tourism Destination Based On The Theory Of Evolutionary Economic Geography

With the continuous development of socio-economic,along with tourism consumption upgrading and institutional environment change,the various elements of tourism destination are experiencing the evolution and development.Tourism destination as a special functional area,and its evolution has been one of the important tourism economy and tourism geography research field.Because of the complexity of the geographic objects,the dynamics of economic landscape evolution,the traditional life cycle theory and related theoretical explanation for the evolution of tourism destination has been patchy,with the evolution of ideas increasingly attracting the attention of economic geography,the thoughts which in the perspective of dynamic evolution understand the economic landscape change process is gradually favor by economists.In recent years,evolution economic geography increasingly becomes an important field that economic geography educational world focus on,and implements the dynamic interaction on the level of research,which provides a theory support for economic geography research.Meanwhile,in the domestic,the empirical researches of evolution economic geography theory more concentrate on some area of the manufacturing industry,but involve little research of elements of the main tourism destination.Therefore,this paper studies the evolution of the tourism destination process and its mechanism based on the evolutionary economic geography theory,and takes the West Lake,Qiandao Lake as typical cases systematically analysis and research.According to the evolution law and characteristics of type of operations in the West Lake and of the industries in Qiandao Lake under the perspective of evolutionary economic geography,the driving mechanisms and its comparetion for the study of the main line.This paper has three sections and is organized as follows:Section1,which includes chapter 1 to 2,is literature review and relevant theory analysis.In the perspective of evolution economic geography,the background and significance of this reaearch are presented,and the thought and methodology of this studyare put forward.The related research results about evlution of tourism destination are summarized,and discusses the advantages of Evolutionary Economic Geography theory.Section 2,is the main part of the full text.First of all,the chapter 3 analyses the Evolutionary Economic Geography theory,and on the basis of the theory constructs the driving force framework of tourism destination evolution analysis.Then discussed the evolution rules and mechanisms of tourism destination based on the Evolutionary Economic Geography theory.The chapter 4 to 5 use the core concepts of the Evolutionary Economic Geography theory to analyze the evolution characteristics of the West Lake enterprises and the industry of Qiandao Lake.And discusse enterprise spatial evolution characteristics of the two cases by using GIS spatial analysis software.The chapter 6 mainly studies the deep driving factors of tourism destination,compares the commonness and individuality of the West Lake tourism destination evolution with the Qiandao Lake.The basis of evolution of type of operations in West Lake is the resources endowment that produces the path dependence;The Motivation is the path innovation of the government and the market;The thrust of evolution is the learning of knowledge.The basis of the Qiandao Lake evolution depends on the unique resources endowment,the foundamental driving force of evolution is the path innovation of government and market and technology,the thrust of the evolution is the knowledge learning;The evolution of catalytic force is the co-evolution of technology,enterprises and the environment,the evolution of pulling force involved major events.The various elements guide the evolution of industries in Qiandao Lake.Those suggest that the evolution of both the tourism destinations based on resources endowment which produce a path.At the same time,they can learn knowledge from the outside world and innovation.However,the difference between the two cases are the specific measures of governments,And the policy guidance of tourist destination development is different,as well as the influence of market innovation mechanism.Moreover,the evolution of the Qiandao Lake are affected by technological innovation,the formation of large traffic environment also has a great effect on the development and so on.Section 3,including chapter 7.In this chapter,we summarized the content of the above chapters,and put forward the constructive suggestions.First of all,the paper analyzes the spatial-temporal evolution characteristics of tourism destination of lake-type and explains driving factors of the tourism destinationevolution.We hope it can provide theory method for different types of tourism destination evolution.Secondly,according to spatial method in GIS,we put the space elements into the study of evolution,which can expand the research ideas and approaches for the study of tourism destination evolution.Finally,we take the core concepts of Evolutionary Economic Geography theory as lessons,to explain the driving forces of evolution of tourism destination.Even we put forward the corresponding suggestion for the the application of evolutionary economic geography theory and give feasible suggestions to tourism destination control and tourism planning.
