Study On The Development Of Jute And Kenaf Seed Industry In Fujian Province

Took the development of jute and kenaf seed industry (JAKSI) of Fujian province as study object, in this paper, literature methodology was applied to summarize the research condition of JAKSI in both home and abroad; using the methods of field investigation, interview, questionnaire survey and others, this paper also analyzed and reviewed current situation of development of JAKSI in Fujian province.Firstly, Potter Diamond Theory Model was applied to research the competitive forces of JAKSI of Fujian province, such as the production factors, market demand, the performance of the related industries and supportive industries,the enterprise strategies, enterprise structure and competitors'performance, the government and the opportunities. The results showed that JAKSI in Fujian province has remarkable competitive advantages such as scientific research advantages, climate advantage and so on.Then the method of game theory was used to analyze strategies selection among the local government, seed companies and farmers in the process of meeting their respective interest. The results revealed that in the development process of JAKSI, the local government, seed companies and farmers,three main bodies should turn individual rationality to collective rationality, and achieve collaboration to make JAKSI in Fujian province exuberance and develop sustainably.Finally, based on the situation of JAKSI in Fujian province, combined with the analysises of the competitiveness of JAKSI and game playing of each body's selecting strategies in the development of JAKSI in Fujian province,this paper puts forward several countermeasures to advance JAKSI in Fujian province,such as increasing support efforts to JAKSI,creating a healthy, sustainable environment;promoting the breeding system,improving service,cultivating leading enterprises;setting up sustainable development;cultivating new hemp farmers;exerting scientific research and technological strength to cultivate high-yield, high-quality, multi-resistant new breeds.
