Empirical Analysis Of The Influencing Factor In Adopting New Vegetable Jute Varieties For Farmers In Fujian Province

This paper took the farmers' will in adopting new vegetable jute varieties-Funong 1 of Fujian Province as study object.First,literature research method was applied to summarize the domestic and foreign current research situation which about jute and influencing factors in adopting new crop varieties as well as new technology of farmers,Next,this paper aimed at understanding the status quo and current existing issues in the promotion of new vegetable jute varieties in Fujian Province by using the methods of questionnaire survey,interview and so on.And then assessed the economic benefit of vegetable jute by using the knowledge of agricultural technical economics and which of management,this paper aslo introduced its nutritional value.On the basis of making sure that promotion of vegetable jute have wide market prospect,this paper speculated the influencing factors which may affect farmers in adopting new vegetable jute varieties-Funong 1 by means of the basic theories of agricultural extension.This paper mainly explored the following four respects:the farmers individual factors,family factors,new varieties factors and promoting factors.In order to find out the influencing factors that affect farmers in adopting new vegetable jute varieties-Funong 1 more completely and accurately,four respects of factors above was divided into 21 characteristics variables.In this paper the main body part analysized of influencing factors on Fujian Province famers' adopting new vegetable jute varieties-Funong 1.First based on the questionnaire data,through contingency table analysis to find out the relevant factors and eliminate irrelevant factors.And then using the Logistic Regression Model to study factors which can significantly affect farmers adopting vegetable jute,eventually figure out the significant factors.Finally,this paper provided policy suggestions in optimizing the promotion of new vegetable jute varieties based on the research outcome and empirical proof.This paper argued that to promote the spread of the new vegetable jute varieties,we should take the following measures:Firstly,increase the research on new vegetable jute products to improve vegetable jute products,added-value.Secondly,strengthen policy advocacy to let people well aware of vegetable jute.Thirdly,spend more money on country education to improve the farmers'quality.Fourthly,boost vegetable jute large-scale production.Fifthly,perfect agricultural infrastructure.
