Logistics has a very important position in the social economy development, the distribution is the core content of modern logistics, the distribution center is the physical places of distribution, distribution center's location quality will affect the supply chain efficiency and cost also service directly. Therefore research on the site selection of distribution center has important theoretical and practical significance. Research based on this background is as follows in this paper:Firstly, on the basis of the existing distribution center location theory and model analysis, under the environment of supply chain establishing a distribution center location model .The model considers many factors which contain fixed costs, storage costs and transportation costs. Secondly, based on in-depth understanding of genetic algorithm, the adaptive algorithm and the particle swarm optimization algorithm, proposing an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm which contains genetic algorithm thoughts and adaptive algorithm thoughts, then, take function testing on the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm. Thirdly, select a concrete example of the distribution center location model which considers many factors, then, the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm and the basic particle swarm optimization algorithm are used to simulation ,we have compared them after getting results.Through the research ,we find the distribution center location model which considers many factors has better practicability ; The particle swarm optimization algorithm which has been improved owes better performance, it inherits the advantages of particle swarm optimization algorithm and adaptive algorithm also genetic algorithm, speeding up rate of evolution, and avoiding the precocious phenomena.
