| In recent years, coal chemical industry is flourishing in China. It is significant for our country, which is a major energy consumer. But origin of coal chemical industries are mainly in the coal-rich western and northern regions, while coal chemical products consumer markets are highly concentrated in the southeast coast of the shortage of coal resources, economically developed provinces. It will inevitably lead to long-distance and high-volume transportation of coal chemical products, which is beyond the capacity of the railway transport. Moreover, the coal chemical products are mostly dangerous, long-range transport will increase potential accidents. It will cause serious damage to social and environmental, if they were improper storage and transportation.How to choose a reasonable storage and transportation mode that can not only meet the economic efficiency of enterprises but also account of the social benefits will be a problem of great concern.Because the problem described at above, this thesis discusses the selection of the chemical products storage and transportation modes, in order to do a beneficial quest for coal chemical industry logistical development.First, this paper analyzed the current situation of coal chemical industry logistics in China and the existing storage and transportation modes of coal chemical products, these types of models are operated independently by the enterprise. Since China has a high concentration of coal chemical industry, this paper presents a new mode that is storage and transportation services are all provided by a professional third party logistics in gathering areas. Secondly, the paper analyzes the pros and cons of these storage and transportation modes from business, government and social points of view, then makes a quantitative comparison of these modes from the perspective of cost. Finally, the article chooses of an appropriate storage and transportation mode for coal chemical enterprises in coal chemical industry park in Ordos. |
