Coal terminal logistics system is moving toward to the excelsior orientation so rapidly that the requirements about handling technology of lean coal wharf logistics system and customer service are higher and higher. The lean loading and unloading needs of Coal terminal,and varieties, small batch, batches of customer requirements make not only the wharf planning and design personnel design varied scheme, but also the design scheme quality assessment become a technical problem.Using simulation method to previous technological design schemes for the coal terminal quality comparison though obtained some achievements, but the simulation model has does not apply to the lean coal wharf logistics system. Previous people often used simulation method to compare the quality of technological design schemes, and obtained some achievements, but the simulation model has not apply to the lean coal wharf logistics system. Therefore, this paper analyzes the lean function demand and structure design of lean logistics system, and makes concept model based on application of fractal theory, and establish a yard grid model,which make the model more perfect. The following topics are mainly researched in this paper.1) The function orientation and structure design of the excelsior logistics system of coal interim wharf. The main function of excelsior logistics system of coal interim wharf was made, based on analysis of its requirements and considered factors. On the foundation of the introduction to basic constitution of the system, its technics equipments were introduced in details, and the technics design was made according to the characters of excelsior logistics system.2) Research of the excelsior logistics system of coal interim wharf on fractal theory. According to the basic ideology and theory methods of fractal theory, particular analysis to the excelsior logistics system of coal interim wharf was made in-depth, and on the foundation of which, the concept model was upbuilt to prepare for modeling.3) Research to the gridding model of the coal interim wharf yard. Considering the particular gridding of the coal interim wharf yard, this paper particularized the necessaries and gridding modeling of yards in details. Then, with the methods of formalization description of system, the model of gridding yard was described in mathematics. At last, the emulation model of excelsior logistics system of coal interim wharf was built, based on yard gridding.4) Application of the emulation model of excelsior coal interim wharf logistics system. Integrated with "the modeling and analysis of logistics system of some coal interim wharf", the emulation modeling's randomization variables and data parameters of this system were presented in details, considering the purposes of modeling. Combined with the technics design and plane blue print, the article mainly analyzed maximum remaining space strategy, minimum remaining space strategy and randomization stacking strategy in the same working condition. In addition, centralized moor of the same stow and distracted randomization moor strategy were analyzed. What's more, this paper also studied the influence of different silo capacity to the capability of port logistics system. At last, by analyzing of the statistical data, the article find out the chock points of the logistics system of this coal interim wharf, and made reasonable suggestions to improve the system.
