As one of the most basic human living security,the circulation and transportation of grain has been given more attention.Unbalanced distribution of grain variety and output causes the imbalanced supply and demand,and then causes the question of grain’s circulation.Port is an important traffic hub for grain transportation,in recent years,grain’s import and export trade volume is increasing,port’s amount of work is also increasing.Based on this background,establishes the specialized and large-scale bulk grain wharf,designs the high efficient mechanized handling technology system,and applys advanced simulation software in logistics system of bulk grain wharf, which has become an important research subject for either national or international researchers.Firstly,the paper reviews the national and international analysis research on modeling method of discrete event dynamic system and simulation modeling of port logistics system.Through the result of analysis,the queuing theory is used to build theoretical model of bulk grain wharf logistics system,and simulation software Flexsim is applied to build its simulation model.Secondly,the paper briefly introduces the bulk grain silo mechanized system,then takes the actual bulk grain wharf as research object,analyses and determines the bulk grain wharfs layout,handling technology processing,main technology parameters and equipment parameters.Focuses on the analysis about bulk grain’s working process of warehouse entry,warehouse out and warehouse transferred.Thirdly,the paper expounds the basic concept,composition,characteristics and the main performance index of queuing theory,and combining the bulk grain wharfs features,the paper uses queuing theory to build queuing theory model of vessel approach and loading train,analysis its probability distribution,then analysis the relativity of wharfs subsystem.Finally,the paper introduces3D visual simulation software Flexsim in detail,and taking actual data of bulk grain wharf in Lanshan Port as basis,according to the system’s simulation target,bulk grain wharfs technology system is reasonably simplified.And then uses Flexsim to build system’s simulation model from four aspects, model’s layout module,relative network module,parameters initialization module and data output module.Through the statistical analysis on simulation result,system’s belt availability can be calculated,then gets the conclusion that belt’s allocation is either reasonable or not,and also finds bottleneck and weak links in the working process,and may offer some referencing value for improving system’s technology.
