In the wake of 21st century, with the flourishing development of central power generation, long-distance transmission system and large-scale interconnected power system, the distributed generation system which is connected to the power grid in a microgrid form, has become the most effective way to make use of the distributed power supply and will be the future of power grid.Recently, as an effective utilization form of renewable energy and an important component in construction of smart grid project, microgrid has caused extensive concern by the government, enterprises, universities and electrical research institutions. With the rapid development of study on microgrid, any study of power grid, cither the principle of interaction of high penetration microgrid with the bulk power system or the planning theory and method of new distribution system containing microgrids, or the protection and control of microgrid, or the optimization method of energy management, could not reach a clear-cut conclusion without the cogent means of simulation.Accordingly, The main research work of the thesis is aimed at research of several representative distributed power systems, and development of a complete mathematic dynamic microgrid model, which includes the distributed generation, the permanent magnet synchronous generator, the three-phase bridge AC to DC rectifier, the boost converter and the DC to AC inverter. As a generic model, it has the vital significance and be helpful to further study on microgrid.
