Study On The Commodity Trade Structure Between China And Iran In The Early 21 St Century

This article consists of three parts. The first part is the introduction, including the first chapter and the second chapter,In this part,the author first puts forward this research background, significance, methods, the difficulties in doing the research,train of thought, innovation.The previous research achievements in merchandise trade structure about Iran is discussed. Based on this, the author explains the trade structure correlative theory and foreign trade structure optimization goal orientation.The second part -key of this chapter, is the empirical studies of merchandise trade structure, including the third and fourth chapter, in this part, the author compares the trade dependency, merchandise trade structure, trade competitiveness and intra-industry trade status between China and Iran, the affecting factors in trade structure is analyzed. The third part refers to conclusions and suggestions, ths section is the summary analysis on the previous empirical research results, thus the author puts forward suggestions on expanding comidity trade between China and Iran, then discusses the development of intra-industry trade in China and direction and countermeasure of chinese foreign trade commodity structure adjustment, finally, China-Iran commodity trade structure is prospected.Each chapter content as follows:ChapterⅠ:Introduction. Thesis research background and significance.This part discusses existing relevant research results at home and abroad, the innovation points, methods, and the key to plans to solve problems and the difficulties in the research.Chapter II:The theoretical basis and goal orientation of foreign trade structure optimization. Firstly the conceptions of foreign trade structure, foreign trade commodity structure and foreign trade mode structure are introduced. The chapter points out that, conceptions of the trade structure in this paper mainly refer to the commodity trade structure and trade mode structure, then the author discusses the related theory of trade structure optimization, finally it puts forward three optimum goal orientations on merchandise trade structure.Chapter III:Comparative on trade commodity structure and competitiveness between China and Iran. Including the analysis of the present situation and the view of commodity trade structure between China and Iran. Using comparative advantage index, trade competitiveness index, the author analysises the advantage of China in the merchandise trade with Iran. Meanwhile the author analysises the structure of intra-industry trade between China and Iran. Using SITC categorical data, the domestic industry trade index is calculated, coming to a conclusion that low level of industry inner trade is existing in the trade between China and Iran, industry trade dominates rather than the other.ChapterⅣ:Analysises on the main factors affecting the merchandise trade structure.From four aspects-natural and human factors, government macro policies, industrial structure, economic growth, the author analyses the influence factors of commodity trade structure.ChapterⅤ:China's adjustment countermeasures of foreign commodity trade structure. According to the conclusion above, the author pointes out the problems on the merchandise trade structure between China and Iran, and proposes advice on developing the merchandise trade with Iran, discusses the development of intra-industry trade in our country and the direction and countermeasure of China's foreign trade commodity structure adjustment countermeasures.Finally, the chapter discusses the prospects of bilateral trade structure.This paper mainly has three new places. Firstly, the study on commodity trade structure from the angle of our trade structure optimization; Second, when doing analysis on the merchandise trade structure and trade competitive between China and Iran, the author use the HS codes and SITC codes respectively according to different needs, HS codes are subdivided into double digits, a systematic calculations of data from coarse to fine is made.Third, aimed at the existing problem of merchandise trade, the author puts forward the suggestion on the further development of the two countries trade,China's foreign trade commodity trade structure optimization are proposed.The deficiency of this paper reflects in the following aspects:first, the research of the merchandise trade between the two countries involves multitudinous domain such as the Geography, the Politics, and International Trade and so on. It involves a wide range of contents, considering on the author's limited knowledge accumulation, so I can only do some exploratory research, and can't implement theoretical innovation; Second, research on China-Iran's merchandise trade structure is little at present, collection of relevant information and data is difficult, this affectes the development and the penetrate to a certain extent; Third, the author's learning and accumulation hasn't arrived in a certain depth, so there is some difficulty in putting forward issues of policy proposals about "further developing between the two countries commodity trade " and "how to carry on the foreign commodity trade structure adjustment".
