An Analysis Of Commodity Trade Structure Between China And Pakistan

Pakistan and China are important partners with each other.Whether in the political or economic field,China-Pakistan friendly relation is a good model for the whole world.Especially in the past decade,the economies of China and Pakistan have achieved rapid development,trade cooperation between the two countries has increased sharply,and the interaction between the Chinese and Pakistani people has become more frequent.The successful construction of the "China-Pakistan Economic Corridor" not only plays a very important complementary role to the "One Belt One Road" strategy,but also provides new impetus and opportunities for economic and trade cooperation between China and Pakistan.With the construction and influence of the "China-Pakistan Economic Corridor",research on trade relations between China and Pakistan has become increasingly important.This article begins with an overview of the historical process of trade between China and Pakistan.Then it summarizes the current situation of trade scale,market structure and commodity structure between China and Pakistan,and analyzes the market structure of China-Pakistan commodity trade.Later,by constructing relevant indicators in foreign trade and calculating the trade competitiveness between China and Pakistan,it was founded that China-Pakistan trade volume is small,Pakistan's export value is low,and Pakistan's trade deficit with China is expanding.Combined with the research of other scholars in this field,this paper analyzes the factors affecting the trade between China and Pakistan from three aspects: politics,economy and natural culture,and summarizes the advantages and challenges of China-Pakistan trade.Finally,it puts forward corresponding suggestions on the development of commodity trade between the two countries.Through the study of merchandise trade between China and Pakistan,proposals to optimize the bilateral merchandise trade structure between China and Pakistan could beput forward.In addition,this research can also provide reference for Chinese trade with other countries along the "Belt and Road".
