Agricultural Trade between China and Iran counts for an important component of commodity trade for the two countries, which plays an important role in promoting the economic and trade development. The study and the conclusion of this paper fall upon the following parts:Part 1:Introduction. In this part, the background and significance of the study is briefly presented, and then the literature review and the method and aim and the construction of this paper are clarified.Part 2:Analyses of the existing condition of the farm trade between the two countries. By studying the current situation and the components of farm trade, this paper concludes that the two countries complemented greatly in farm trade. The truth is that there is only a small quantity of agricultural trade between china and Iran. China just exports fewer agricultural products such as fruits to Iran due to the trade restriction from the side of Iran; similarly, Iran only exports pistachio nuts, saffron, Acid skin, and caviar to china.Part 3:The existing problems in agricultural trade between china and Iran. The main problems are as following:first, the scale of the trade is small and the status of the trade is quite low compared with the whole trade between the countries. Second, the mode of trade is single. The time and quantity of the trade are unbalanced. And the quality of the agricultural products is low, thus high-quality products counts little. Third, the trade framework is imperfect, and the serving system and organization are far lag behind, which leads to the weakness of the entrepreneur involved in export.Part 4:The factors influence the agricultural trade and the exploration of the trade mechanism. First, the paper will point out the advantages and disadvantages in the trade between the countries. The two countries enjoy the rapid growth of economy and favorable policies from the two governments, which serves for the impetus in bilateral trade. Anyhow, there are barriers baring the mutual trade. On one hand, the macro-control system in china is not perfect. On the other hand, there is a heavy tendency of trade protection in Iran. Part 5:The prospect of the agricultural trade between china and Iran. This paper makes a tentative attempt to frame out a feasible outline for the prospect of the countries'.This paper is made up of five parts, namely, Introduction; Analyses of the existing condition of the farm trade between the two countries; the existing problems in agricultural trade between china and Iran; the factors influence the agricultural trade and the exploration of the trade mechanism; the prospect of the agricultural trade between china and Iran. The novelties of this paper embody themselves in the following aspects. First, the selection of the thesis itself is original, because up to now the bilateral trade between china and Iran is scarcely touched instead of much study on the agricultural trade of china. In this sense, it is a fresh subject. Second, on basis of the similarities and the differences of the agricultural resources of the two countries, this paper sums up the existing problems lying in the trade field. Furthermore, this paper is attempting to put forward some feasible and practical suggestions and approaches to help the development of the agricultural trade in future. It is unavoidable that there must be much room for improvement of this paper owing to my limited knowledge regarding to the study of Iran, and the unavailable materials in our country, which results in the difficulties in digging the data, and the wanting of up-to-date information. Therefore, I am looking forward to all the criticisms and corrections from all the scholars and experts.
