The Feasibility Study On Beijing Mobile 3G Capacity Expansion Engineering Project

With the rapid development of mobile network,3G high-speed data capacity brings customers multiple and various choice of business services. In order to meet the market demand and competition as well as its commitment towards the society and industry, China Mobile has propped up with its goal of'3 Years Plan, To Be Finished in 2 Years'in terms of TD network scale with large enforcement. China Mobile 3G (TD-SCDMA) Network Capacity Expansion Project will cover all cities, counties and suburban areas. In some business hotspot areas, TD network will be equipped with high quality and capacity to be competing with China Unicom and China Telecom.The thesis starts with the theory of the project feasibility study, defining its functions, working phases and main content. Then it will be based on the actual Beijing 3G Network Capacity Expansion Project to illustrate on its fundamental method and framework with a thorough analysis from 5 aspects, initiating, planning, implementing, controlling and ending. It defines the TD market development target and guideline, predicts the engineering scale and business, makes detailed design plan, compares with different planning combination, and has an overall analysis on the project technical feasibility. Investment estimate and fund raising are conducted to prove its feasibility in economic evaluation by 2 qualitative analyses- enterprise benefit evaluation and national economy appraisal.By the technical feasibility study and economic feasibility study for Beijing Mobile 3G Network Capacity Expansion Engineering Project, designing and establishment of networking plan and comparison of the multiple plans, one technical plan will be selected for this project. The thesis argues its necessity, possibility, validity and rationality systematically before project investment, to improve decision making and investment returns.
