A Study On The Operating Mechanism Of Enterprises Cooperative R&D In Industrial Cluster

Technological innovation is a complex process. It includes not only the subject of technological innovation——the enterprises, but also relates to the external environment of companies closely. Single Enterprise can hardly commit the whole process of technological innovation. The breakthrough of innovation can happen only if the enterprises play a synergistic effect of various resources fully and realize the comprehensive integration of all the advantages. Cooperative R&D increases the competition from individual enterprises to bigger groups. And it helps to lower the transaction costs and the production costs, promote the joint development of technology, and enhance the economic interests of the partners.Nowadays, industrial clusters have become the dominant force of regional and national innovation system. It plays a more and more important role in the social and economic development. While the competitive advantage of industrial clusters mainly comes from the technological innovation, the cooperation among actors in industrial clusters has getting more and more important.In view of the above, this paper focuses on the enterprises'cooperative R&D existing in the industrial cluster. Firstly, the advantage of cooperative R&D in the industrial cluster was analyzed. Compare with the independent R&D, cooperative R&D could meet all of the requirements of Today's technology innovation and promote the generation of technology innovation effectively. Then this paper made an assay of the industrial clusters'current situation and difficult points of cooperative R&D in Zhejiang Province. While analyzing the status quo of the industrial cluster in Zhejiang Province, this paper concluded the conditions about how to achieve the cooperative equilibrium for enterprises in the industrial cluster based on prisoner's dilemma, repeated game theory and Macleod's cooperative game model. Moreover, society capital was added in the model. A three stages game model of cooperative R&D in the industrial cluster and a cooperative R&D operating framework were brought in this paper. Society capital in the industrial cluster can urge enterprises in the industrial cluster to achieve a cooperative equilibrium through increasing the trust and reputation, network between enterprises and system.At last, this research analyzed the feature and current situation of Wenzhou Liushi low voltage industrial cluster. Using the cooperative R&D operating framework prove the operating mechanism of Liushi low voltage industrial cluster. This paper tries to find the weakness of the industrial cluster so it can give some advises and suggestions to the development of Wenzhou Liushi low voltage industrial cluster.
