Study On The Policy Of Convergence Of Urban Medical Aid And Basic Medical Insurance For Urban Residents

The state introduced the basic medical insurance for urban residents in 2007.The urban and rural medical assistance system was introduced in 2009. Basic medical insurance system for urban residents follow the principle of a social security system; urban medical aid system is in the public finances, a social assistance category. They both have a common policy objective-that is, to relieve the economic burden of disease, to improve medical and health services utilization of urban residents, to achieve social justice and improve the health of the masses, and thus protection of urban society harmonious development. Two policy goals are different in nature but is the same convergence of systems were the core contents of this article.First, the urban medical aid and basic medical insurance system for urban residents whether the convergence of the practical feasibility (environmental infrastructure)? This is the first problem of this research.
