Study On The Market Integration Of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Regional Economic Integration

The trend of the regional integration around the world is increasing under the background of globalization. Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei is one of the primary economy core regions in China, which also has critical geographic location in Northeast Asia. The market integration can to some extent reflect the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regional integration. Study on this topic helps provide the basis for the development of regional economic plan for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area.This study mainly consists of three parts. the current situation of the resource & technology (investment environment) integration, labor market integration and financial capital market integration. The analysis based on the data from the "China City Statistical Yearbook",from the time and space dimensions.Using the municipal districts GDP per capita data and Social Total Retail Sales per capita of the Year 2002,2004,2006,2008 data, the paper classifies the investment environment in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei with the cluster analysis method and Illustrated the classification in the map. The result indicates that the integration process of the regional investment environment was going slowing and it starts to form an economic axis in spatial distribution. The analysis of the average wage of workers in municipal districts shows that wage differences have been increasing according to the "Law-of-One-Price". And testing the labor market by the Moran index of spatial statistics reveals that the spatial agglomeration of labor market was keeping on going. The study on linear regression of loan rates and deposit rates of regression shows that the regional credit liquidity is strengthening gradually among Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the financial capital market entered integration stage. Learning from the urban developing and spatial distribution patterns theories, this study shows that the regional market began to interact each other, and the current development is on the early/initial stage of market integration. Based on the above-mentioned research, this paper proposed certain Suggestions and comments to accelerate the process of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regional integration effectively.
