Study On The Contribution Of Forestry Industry To Regional Economic And Society Development In Jiangxi Provincek

Forestry industry makes a great contribution to regional economy and social development. Restricted to the imperfect statistic system and method, the development state of forestry and its status and function can't be completely reflected. This article propose an input-output method which aims at work out forestry's direct and complete function, including GDP, residential income, employment and fiscal revenue.To the needs of research, after redefine the forestry industry, the article gets the forestry input-output table from a similar one in economy. According to the method, "the forestry input-output table of Jiangxi in 2002 and 2007" is worked out. Combined with related statistics, the industrial correlation, multiplier effect of forestry industry and its effect on the GDP of Jiangxi are also calculated.The feature of Jiangxi forestry industry will be analyzed from static and dynamic state based on the result. Static analysis shows that Jiangxi forestry industry has a low degree of association and has a comparative advantage in the economy; the other one reveals that compared to 2002, the manufacture technique of Wood & Bamboo Products & Furniture reduced in 2007. In the end, based on the analysis result, properly position the forestry industry and develop its benefit to the economy is advised.
