Analysis On Forest Industry Cluster Effects Of Jilin Province

From the industrial economics perspective, this paper used the theory and method of industry cluster to analysis the main factors of the performance of forest industry clusters in Jilin province. It also analyzed the forest industry performance of the counties in Jilin province and further provided some suggestions to promote regional economic development.This study is mainly divided into three parts. First, it is an overview of the background and significance the relevant theories and the studies progress about the forest industries,industry clusters and its performance. Secondly, this paper adopted location quotient model to measure and comparatively analysis the concentration degree of the forest industry clusters in Jilin province. The results show that from the perspective of the whole of Jilin Province, the province's forestry industry cluster phenomenon exists, from the horizontal comparison of the cities and counties of the province, Yanbian, Baishan, Tonghua forestry industry cluster phenomenon were obvious. On the basis, this paper used Granger causality test model to evaluate the relationship between forestry industry cluster and economic growth of Jilin province. Therefore, it has practical significance to study the performance of forestry industry cluster and further provide suggestions to enhance the performance of forestry industry cluster of Jilin province. Subsequently, from the perspective of feasibility, the paper established the evaluation index system of forestry industry cluster performance using multi-objective weight optimization method. Finally, it made a general summary of the study from four aspects and also put forward some constructively countermeasures.
