Research On The Developmental Model And Strategy Of The Agricultural Product Processing Industry Cluster In Jilin Province

An important approach to strengthen the county economy and an channel to solve theproblem of “agriculture, rural areas and farmers” is to develop agricultural product processingindustry. And agricultural product processing industry which is dominated in industry cluster,plays a more important role in the national economy and social development. Because mostof the industrial clusters are located in the areas like township and suburb, they play anirreplaceable role in absorbing rural surplus labor, promoting the farmers’ income, etc.,contrary to the other industry clusters. And clusters have effects of economies of scale, whichfurther consolidate the status of agricultural product processing industry cluster in economicdevelopment.Agricultural product processing industry in Jilin Province has made great progress inrecent years, and becomes more and more significant to promote the national economic andsocial development.
