Research On Region Difference About Rural Tourism Of Hubei Province

The appraising and electing about famous village of Hubei Province tourism start up from March of 2009.100 representative villages were chosen from 160 options by internet voting, clipping sending and on-the-spot investigation of experts. Nowadays, rural tourism is being paid more and more attention. In this context, we divided the district of Hubei Province into 5 areas:Casual tourism area around Wuhan, Red rural-tourism area in the East of Hubei, Jianghan style tourism area in the middle of Hubei, Forest and ecological tourism area in the northwest of Hubei and folk rural-tourism area in the southwest of Hubei. We attempted to analyze the regional variation between them. By selecting different indicators about rural-tourism, the text compared the regional variation through qualitative and quantitative methods. The text also put forward to effective way to promote the sustainable development of rural-tourism in Hubei Province.In terms of the distribution of rural-tourism in Hubei, famous villages of Red rural-tourism area in the East of Hubei and folk rural-tourism area in the southwest of Hubei are in the majority, while villages of Forest and ecological tourism area in the northwest of Hubei and folk rural-tourism area in the southwest of Hubei are more delicacy than others. In terms of the type of tourism, villages of the East of Hubei are meanly characterized by "red" culture; around Wuhan, are positioned for leisure in free time; in the middle of Hubei, are characterized by Jianghan style, which is the inheritance of culture of Jingchu and Sanguo; in the northwest of Hubei, are meanly about natural scenery and historical interest, such as Shennongjia, Wudangshan and ancient city of Xiangyang; and in the southwest, are meanly about ethnic customs such as Miao nationality arid the view of The Three Gorges. Every districts developed rich products of rural-tourism by integration and restructuring their own advantages in resources. Several results and conclusions can be drawn from the data analysis:villages of tourism in the southwest of Hubei earned high tourism revenue and high capacity of absorbing labor forces, although the total revenue of this district is the lowest, which was informed that the more active of rural-tourism, the more capacity to absorb labor forces; the planning of rural-tourism, the tourism infrastructure, the tourism service, are of high level in Casual tourism area around Wuhan, but low level in Forest and ecological tourism area in the northwest of Hubei and folk rural-tourism area in the southwest of Hubei; the resources of rural-tourism are best protected in folk rural-tourism area in the southwest of Hubei, followed by folk rural-tourism area in the southwest of Hubei, the less is Casual tourism area around Wuhan. Finally, there is a discussion for every district of how to position accurately, how to integrate the tourism resources, how to optimize the tourism products according to market demand, how to stabilize the fundamental tourism market and how to develop a broader tourism market. At the same time, the government should pay more attention to protect the environment of rural-tourism, mainly from terms of water resources, geological resources, biological resources, farming and folk culture, village and the ancient buildings, cultural resources, and so on. At last, it is essential to plan the rural tourism traffic, cluster the tourism destination and build a regional tourism brand to promote the sustainable development of rural tourism in Hubei.
