Economic Development Strategic Thinking And Countermeasure In Tianshui

Tianshui is the second largest city in Gansu Province, and it is the east gate of Gansu Province. It located on the strategic importance. The good resource endowment, abundant resources and strong cultural atmosphere decided its importance in Gansu province. Moreover, it is said there is "silver Wuwei, Golden Zhangye, gold and silver is not for Tianshui". Tianshui have a crucial role in economic development of Gansu Province. It is the important growth pole in the economic development "East Wing"of Gansu Province. Its economic development will directly decide on overall economic development goals of Gansu Province.In 2007, the official formally proposed the building of idea about "Guanzhong-Tianshui economic zone", "Guanzhong-Economic Planning" published in 2009, economic development is faced with historic opportunity in Tianshui. With the opportunities and challenges, the paper tries to analyze the development of economic zones under the favorable boost, and the favorable factors and unfavorable factors, comparative advantage and comparative disadvantage which the economy in Tianshui faced. It is helpful for Tianshui to find a right direction and specific development areas in a long period.The paper consists of the six parts as follows:The first part is introduction. It introduces the background, meaning and research ideas. Summary of theories was mentioned in the second part. Based on the large number of economic indicators of comparative analysis from vertical and horizontal, the third part analyzed economic development of Tianshui. Combined with the theory of economic development, the paper tries to find the reasons of economic development in Tianshui. The forth part introduces the intrinsic link between Economic Zone and Tianshui economic development. The main purpose is to analyze the boost factors about the construction of economic zones drawn on Tianshui economic development. The fifth part is the strategic thinking of economic development in Tianshui. According to the previous chapters of the conclusions, this part puts forward three essential factors which the economic development of Tianshui must followed or persisted. In the sixth part, on the basis of previous parts, the paper proposes priority development areas of Tianshui and measures about how to develop.
