Service Outsourcing And Upgrading Path Choice Of China's Service Industries

Outsourcing as one of the intra-product specialization, becomes a new form of the international division of labor. From the value chain to see, the international division of labor is the global expansion and outspread beyond national boundaries of each link of the value chain. From this level, outsourcing as the specialization of intra-product value chain, is also the main management style running the global value chain. Following manufacturing outsourcing, service outsourcing has become an important role of outsourcing. Our country has been included in the value chain of the global service outsourcing through undertaking service outsourcing. Our service outsourcing has just started and the overall level is relatively backward. Most service outsourcings are in the low level of the outsourcing value chain and exist low-end locking confusion of value chain, which will affect the development and promotion of China's service industry, influence the benign interaction with manufacturing and influence the overall promotion of our industry.Under the background of the changing factor endowments, in order to maintain and promote competitive advantage, we must take the industrial upgrading on the agenda. The research on the upgrade of service industry of Chinese scholars is still in the deficient, and most researches focus on manufacturing. The definition of industrial upgrading is also different. Based on the previous research on manufacturing upgrade, this paper combines with the connotation of industrial upgrading, redefines service industry upgrading, analyses the status of China's international service outsourcing linking with the present situation of undertaking international service outsourcing with service outsourcing as the research background and the theory of global value chain as the analyzing tool, and then explores the upgrading path of China's service industry. Finally, the text puts forward pertinent and feasible countermeasures.This paper complies with the thinking path of problem raising- problem analysis- problem solving. In the part of problem analysis, the author tries to explore the applicability of the upgrading path for manufacturing industry to service industry and seek the special upgrading path for service industry through previous relevant researches on manufacturing upgrade and comparison between manufacturing and service sector, and puts forward the beneficial references and suggestions.
