Study On Index System Evaluation Of Shandong Urbanization

Urbanization is the major social and economic phenomena in the world. The development of urbanization in China is determined by the special national conditions, and the coordination of urbanization and industrialization, the "three rural" issue (urbanization), and land use and ecological issues are the outstanding issues of urbanization development quality in the double transition of industrial structure and economic system transformation. There will be building different evaluation index system and different evaluation method from different angles and regions, so the evaluation of urbanization development is complex. Shandong as an agricultural, populous province, owning to the imbalance of regional economic development, the city's the effects of aggregation and radiation are great differences as the standards the urbanization evaluation. Take the east, central and western province for example which are at different levels about socio-economic development situation and urbanization development because of physical geography, regional conditions differences and institutional factors.On the basis of the analysis of regions urbanization, deeply studying the comprehensive index systems of urbanization development in different regions, integrating the advantages of these methods, combining with geographical, cultural and economic development factors of Shandong province, the paper establish the evaluation index system of urbanization development of Shandong; based on that index system, and analysing various evaluation methods, the thesis builds a comprehensive evaluation criteria of Shandong from many angles with scientific evaluation theory, and optimize and filter this index system by the factor and principle component analysis(SPSS software), and gives the weight to the optimized index system using improved entropy and measure out the urbanization indicators index of 17 cities,and carries out empirical analysis and show the validity of that, which provide scientific decision basis for taking the characteristic urbanization road and offer the methodology for promoting urbanization development in different regions. The dissertation strives to be able to do some help about urbanization development, and have a positive effect on Shandong urbanization development.
