The new urbanization is the only way to modernization and a powerful engine for keeping the sustainable and healthy economic development. At present, new urbanization of Shandong Province has entered a new accelerated development of urbanization. It is an important way to implement to solve the problem of “agriculture, rural areas and farmers”, speed up the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure, promote coordinated regional development and promote the comprehensive progress of society, which Shandong Province speeds up the advancement of new urbanization development and finds a new path with the characteristic of Shandong Province urbanization development.In this paper, analyzed the current situation of the development of urbanization in Shandong Province, on the basis of the relevant theoretical research of urbanization, and compared with the national and eastern provinces; analyzed the new type of urbanization level and spatial distribution pattern with the method of the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis from the time and space scale in Shandong Province 11 years; Analyzed the influence factors of the new urbanization of Shandong Province from three aspects: economic, social and institutional factors, at the same time, parsed the coordination of new urbanization with other three under the background of the four modernizations coordination, through analysis and research, put forward the countermeasures and suggestions to promote the development of new type of urbanization, the results showed below:(1) Time changes. Since 2003-2013 years, the urbanization development was slower compared with national, the overall level of gap was not big, the urbanization development level had certain gap with the eastern provinces and cities, but the new urbanization level increased significantly and showed a trend of rising year by year; Overall, each dimension index and comprehensive evaluation of urbanization level in Shandong Province generally increased continuously of trend, the speed of economic development, infrastructure and social development indicators development was faster than the other dimension index on the whole, urban and rural areas and environmental resources evaluation index was lower and lower than the new urbanization development level, remained to be improved; Contrasted the new urbanization level and resident population and the population urbanization level in the same period of evolution, the new urbanization of Shandong Province was divided into three stages: steady development stage(2003-2006), to continue developing stage(2007) and the rapid development stage(2008-2013).(2) Spatial changes. In number, the evolution of the new type of urbanization of Shandong Province had the trend of polarization, the middle tier levels(high and low) of the proportion of cities increased, while the poles level(high level and low level) reduced the proportion of cities; In space, the urbanization development level of eastern and middle was high, western was low, the east was given priority to with high level and the west was with low level. New type of 17 cities in Shandong Province urbanization level gap was bigger with unbalanced development in various regions.(3) Influence factors and coordination changes. The development of new type of urbanization of Shandong Province had a close relationship with its economic strength, industrial development, population, science and technology education, infrastructure, household registration system, land system and social security system and so on; The new urbanization of Shandong Province had interdependent promote relations with industrialization, informationization and agricultural modernization, the synchronous propulsion of “Four modernizations”, was conducive to the realization of the modernization and balanced and sustainable economic development in Shandong Province. |
