With the fast development of economy globalization, competition in the market is more and more intense, in order to improve competitiveness, companies are seeking ways to reduce costs. The First Profit Source and the Second Profit Source can not further create profits. People turn to logistics which is called The Third Profit Source, many companies search ways of reducing logistics costs to increase profits. Logistics distribution center plays a vital role in logistics costs controlling, what's more, under the condition of growing conflict between specialization of production and diversification of needs as well as high demand of service response time, distribution center operation management gains more and more attention, improving the efficiency of distribution center operations becomes the focus.In all operations of distribution center especially non-automated distribution center, picking is not only the most time-consuming operation, but also the one which will affect customer satisfaction directly, so enhancing picking efficiency is very important in improving efficiency of distribution center. During picking process, travelling time at picking routing takes up as high as half of the picking time, therefore, to shorten the path length is critical for improving picking efficiency, picking routing problem has become the key issue, many scholars research picking routing algorithms and optimize picking routing of large-scale picking problem through these algorithms.In order to be applied in the actual production, picking routing optimizing algorithm should be combined with the practical data information such as warehouse layout information, storage space information and customer orders information, which have the character of diversity and complexity. In order to be better used by picking routing algorithm, these data should be collected, appropriate picking routing network should be built, appropriate data storage structure should be designed, and efficient shortest path algorithm should be used to process picking routing information.Picking routing information of common warehouse type---non-automated rectangle warehouse is analyzed in this thesis, and then picking routing information collection and processing system of distribution center is designed and implemented by using Delphi software development platform. This system can collect picking routing data, build picking routing network and generate shortest distance matrix of the network, provide better data input for picking routing optimizing algorithms and help optimizing algorithms achieve better result.
