Study On Designing Agricultural Product Supply Chain Network

The competition in the 21st century is no more than the competition between company and company, but the competition between supply chain and supply chain. With the exchange of competition environments confronted by agriculture managers, especially the exchange of consumers'requirements, supply chain management is widely used in agriculture gradually. Designing and optimizing supply chain network is one of important contents and tasks in agricultural product supply chain management. Reasonable network's design can not only decrease supply chain's costs, but also can improve its flexibility and responsive speed, as a result, consumers'requirements will be statisfied with cheaper costs and better service qualities, which will improve the competitiveness of the whole supply chain. The social and economic benefits, as well as competitiveness, caused by network's designing and optimization have been paid attention by the whole world.The backgrounds and meanings of the study are firstly introduced, and the correlative researches are reviewed. Following, the theories of agricultural product supply chain and supply chain network's designing are summarized, among which the main styles of agricultural product supply chain; the concept of suplly chain network; the main study issues as well as methods and models widely used for network designing and optimization are specially explained. Then, agricultural product supply chain network is analyzed and the main problems that exist in agricultural product supply chain network are identified, meanwhile, designing and optimizing principles are put forward. What's more important, the paper optimizes two different types of agricultural product supply chain networks by quantitative analytic methodology. According to freshness of fresh agricultural product, interviewing the time-price parameter, a two-grade supply chain network's optimizing model based on price time parameter is set and tested. Meanwhile, considering inventory cost of non-fresh agricultural product, a two-grade supply chain network's optimizing model based on inventory control is established.
