Energy is one kind of physical resources to offer power.It is the material base for sustainable economic development.Then energy consumption and economic growth is closely related.Recently,the power source is limited and scarcity ,especially the non-renewable resources,such as coal and petroleum.Energy will become the hindering factor when it can't meet the need of economic growth with energy futher consumption.So it is considerable significant to hold energy consumption promoting economic growth and resolve energy security issue.Zhe Jiang is one of province with high-speed economic growth, huge energy consumption and seriously lacking power source in China.During the past over twenty years, energy reported much emergencies with the sustained and rapid development of economy. Ever since a long time ago,the industrial structure giving priority to secondary industry and the energy resource structure giving priority to coal form highly energy-consuming and low growth development pattern.The result is there's serious power resource security issue in Zhe Jiang province.which has to import 95 percent power resources.So there is realistic and long-range meaning to study the relationship between energy consumption and economic development ,quest methods to increase the efficiency of energy utilization,work out a plan to undertake for energy security,reduce energy consumption and promote economic growth.The dissertation study based on the analysis of energy consumption and economic growth development trend of Zhe Jiang,using time series econometric metheod to study the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth.Then this article analysis the influence on energy consumption from economic structure,the influence on efficiency of energy utilization from energy resource structure .At last,this article center on the issue how to optimize industrial structure and energy consumption structure ,take suggestion of strategies to undertake for energy security,reduce energy consumption and promote economic growth for Zhe Jiang.?...
