Domestic Airline Competitiveness Evaluation Based On Extension Binary Relative Evaluation Model

With economic globalization and regional economic integration process in-depth, China's aviation market will gradually open up, the development of international air transport liberalization more rapidly and in-depth, aceording to the rules of WTO and the basie promises of China when she entered the organization,a large number of foreign airlines entered China,and started an all-round competition with domestic airlines.The domestic airlines began a new era of ceompetition,so if they want to be invineible in the fierce competition,building and enhaneing the competitiveness of China's airlnes become an urgent task.Through thorough analysis the 10 airlines competitiveness factors to specific resources, business management, service quality and brand effect, government intervention, fuel prices, fare policy, human resources, operational efficiency, production scale, financial security and operation performance and others, on the basis of illustrating interactional and reciprocal mechanism of the impact factors of airlines comptitiveness,Through analysis financial class of targets and indicators of production and operation class of the airline's competitiveness, together with the financial indexes and production and operation indexes, this paper constructes the airlines competitiveness evaluation indexes system from financial security, corporate development capacity, service quality, operational capacity, enterprise scale and strength, human resource competition.According to for the the past evaluation of airlines competitiveness can not eliminate the objective merits of the sample results of the evaluation, resulting in evaluation activities not truly reflect how good or bad management. This paper will combine the AHP of systems engineering methods, factor analysis of multivariate statistical method and data envelopment method, established to the extention binary relative evaluation method to reflect the degree of management subjective and effective effort, and established airline competitiveness evaluation model based on the extention binary relative evaluation method.Using this evaluation model,together with the financial data and of listed companies from 2008 to 2009,15 domestic airlines competitiveness evaluation has been analyzed.Through the analysis of the results,not only proved the scientificity and reliability of airlines competitiveness evaluation theory and method, bur also the empirical results objectively reflect the actual level of China's airlines competitiveness. So, the extension binary relative evaluation method is feasible and effective method to evaluate the airlines comoetitiveness.it is useful for providing a sound competitiveness evaluation system for domestic airlines.
