Nowadays, an important trend of manufacturing industry development is manufacturing enterprise service development. Manufacturing enterprises not only promote service marketing, but also extend actively business activities to service. More and more manufacturers increase the value of core products through providing services, and some manufacturing enterprises even sell product function or service instead of products. Some manufacturers are turning into service-oriented enterprises to some degree, and to be service-oriented has become an important trend of the world manufacturing industry. How to grasp the trend, fully understand service-oriented trend influence on China's manufacturing industry development, and take effective measures to upgrade Chinese manufacturing industry and enhance international competitiveness, is a major issue of the current business and theorist circle.However, for service-oriented transformation of manufacturing industry is a brand-new topic either in theory or in practice, the related research home and broad has just started, and the views are naturally dispersive without a unified view of theoretical framework. Taking manufacturing enterprise as the research object, the thesis adopted theoretical analysis and case study, discussed the feasible mode of traditional manufacturing transforming to service manufacturing and the key factors affecting the transformation of traditional manufacturing to service manufacturing, abstracted and refined these key factors, and built a common model of manufacturing enterprise service transformation and its influencing factors.Through systematic theoretical analysis and deepened case studies, this paper argues that on the whole manufacturing enterprise service transformation can be divided into three kinds of transformation model, after-sales service mode, customer support mode and development partner modes, etc. The influence factors of manufacturing enterprise service transformation generally can be divided into external factors and internal factors. External factors includes customer demand, market competition situation, the product price cost and environmental effect, and internal factors includes six aspects such as service strategic positioning, independent service sector establishment, service business value orientation, systematic service development process, actively carrying out marketing and actively cultivating service culture. In order to further develop and comprehensively deepen manufacturing enterprise service transformation, manufacturing enterprises need organically and efficiently combine enterprise internal and external factors to realize the interaction and linkage of various resources and elements.Finally, based on the model of manufacturing enterprise service transforma -tion and its influencing factors, the thesis puts forward general steps of enterprise transformation service manufacturing, and provides beneficial references for those manufacturing enterprises who conduct ongoing or upcoming service transformation.
